01 · Verify

Match the saved image

The original and processing record must pass verification. Every missing size must reproduce its recorded checksum before any restored file is made available.

02 · Preserve

Keep existing decisions

Crops, descriptions, saved publications, drafts and permissions stay unchanged. Corrupt files are retained for separate investigation.

03 · Record

Show the actual outcome

Each attempt records its actor, reason and restored sizes. An interrupted attempt may leave some verified files restored; fresh evidence guides the next attempt.

Existing delivery may resume

Restoring the primary image can resume delivery in every existing authorized placement using this file, including saved publications. Recovery does not grant new access.

This image is publicly withdrawn in this edition. It stays withdrawn after recovery.
